Runner Interference

If a runner is struck by a batted ball when not physically on a base, the runner is called for interference. The ball is dead, the runner is out and the batter is awarded first base (if less than 2 outs).

Suicide Squeeze Bunt

A sacrifice bunt with a runner on third base. As soon as the pitcher releases the pitch the runner from third breaks for home, anticipating the batter to lay down a bunt. The objective is if the batter can successfully bunt in this situation it’s almost impossible to get the runner

Safety Squeeze Bunt

Similar to the suicide squeeze bunt except that the runner on third does not break for home until he is sure that batter has successfully laid down the bunt.
